'Halloween' Producer Jason Blum Dresses Up as Stormy Daniels
And his TV writer wife, Lauren, went as Daniels' attorney, Michael Avenatti.
Jason Blum promised an elaborate Halloween costume this year, and the end result was nothing if not topical.
On Saturday, the Halloween producer tweeted a photo of what appeared to be a professional makeup and hair crew in his apartment in downtown Los Angeles. He captioned the photo: "I am not f-ing around with my costume this year."

Later that day, he tweeted the end result: He and wife Lauren Schuker Blum, a TV writer (Orange Is the New Black), were dressed as Stormy Daniels, the former adult film star who made headlines for her lawsuit against President Trump, and her attorney, Michael Avenatti. Blum was Daniels, and his wife was Avenatti.

The looks didn't go unnoticed by the attorney, who is gearing up for a 2020 presidential run. He tweeted at Blum: "We have finally arrived! Where can I get one of those buttons? Great movie btw - you guys crushed it." (He was referring to the "Avenatti for President" button that Lauren was wearing.)
It is unclear exactly where the Blums were headed in their costumes, but the producer had plenty of reason to celebrate this weekend. Halloween opened to $77.5 million over the weekend, the second-best showing of all time for an R-rated horror pic.
