Harris, Chalke to host Creative Arts Emmys

Neil Patrick Harris and Sarah Chalke will host the 2008 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Spike Jones Jr. will return to produce the show for a 14th year alongside executive producers Lee Miller and Steve Venezia.

Harris is nominated for a Primetime Emmy as supporting actor in a comedy series for CBS' "How I Met Your Mother." Chalke co-stars in "Scrubs," which is moving from NBC to ABC this season, and also recurs on "Mother."

"Everyone knows how great Neil and Sarah are as actors," Jones said. "Now they'll get the opportunity to see how fearless they are as live hosts."

The Creative Arts ceremony is set for Sept. 13 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. It will air as a two-hour special on E! at 8 p.m. Sept. 20.
