'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1' Showing at Record 930 Italian Cinemas

Latest installment of the "Harry Potter" franchise also accompanied by major ad campaign by Warner Bros.-Italia.

ROME -- The latest installment of the Harry Potter franchise premiered in Italy on Friday with more copies than any other film ever.
ANICA, the Italian audiovisual association, reported Friday that 930 copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, all dubbed, will hit Italian cinemas. That’s more than any other film in Italy, and around double the level for most major releases.
The film’s release is also accompanied by a major ad campaign from distributor Warner Bros.-Italia and days of close coverage in the Italian press.
