Harvey Weinstein is no stranger to the fashion crowd — he's married to Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, after all.

Now the Oscar-winning film producer will be honored at one of the industry's glitziest events: amfAR's black-tie gala that will kick off New York Fashion Week on Feb. 10.

The foundation, known for its AIDS research, will recognize Weinstein for his exceptional contributions to the global struggle against HIV/AIDS. The gala will include a live auction, an honoree tribute and a special performance.
