Amazon Prime members can pay $15 a month to stream HBO programming.

Amazon wants members of its Prime Video streaming service to not only watch Transparent but HBO's Westworld too.

The e-commerce giant announced Thursday morning that Prime subscribers can now subscribe to stream HBO and Cinemax via its Amazon Channels program, which offers a cable-like bundle of subscriptions from services such as Showtime and Starz

A streaming version of HBO, which offers current programming such as Game of Thrones as well as older shows like The Sopranos, is available for $14.99 a month. Cinemax is offerings its programming for $9.99 a month.

"HBO has produced some of the most groundbreaking, beloved and award-winning shows in television history. Their selection of blockbuster movies is unsurpassed, including hits like Batman vs. Superman, The Revenant, and Deadpool," said Michael Paull, vp digital video at Amazon. "And our customers have been asking when all that wonderful content will be available on Amazon Channels."

HBO and Cinemax are already available as add-ons to Dish's live TV streaming service Sling TV. While Amazon promotes that HBO and Cinemax will be available on over 650 devices, that does not include Apple TV, which does not offer the Amazon Video app. HBO and Cinemax are available on Apple TV via their stand-alone apps.

HBO library content has been available to Amazon Prime subscribers via a licensing deal since 2014.

"For years now, Amazon has demonstrated an incomparable capability for bringing customers exactly what they want, in all the ways they want it," said Sofia Chang, executive vp worldwide digital distribution and home entertainment at HBO. "We have a very successful partnership with this great company that continues to evolve. We share the goal of providing Amazon customers more ways to access all of the high-quality HBO and Cinemax programming they've been asking for."
