'Heathers' Star Grace Victoria Cox Joins Zac Efron in Ted Bundy Movie (Exclusive)
John Malkovich, Lily Collins and Jeffrey Donovan are already in the cast.
Grace Victoria Cox, one of the stars of the upcoming Heathers television remake, will appear opposite Zac Efron in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, the drama centering on serial killer Ted Bundy.
The movie is currently shooting in Covington, Kentucky, and Cox joins a roll call that includes John Malkovich, Lily Collins and Jeffrey Donovan.
Joe Berlinger (Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory) is in the director's seat.
Vile tells the story of the infamous serial killer. A man's routine traffic stop spirals out of control when he's brought up on criminal charges, a process that reveals his vast crimes. Michael Werwie wrote the script.
Cox will play Carol Daronch, a girl who survived Bundy's kidnapping attempt and later identifies him in court, pitting her against the man's fierce attorney, played by Donovan.
Michael Costigan, Michael Simkin, Ara Keshishian and Nicolas Chartier are producing.
Cox co-starred in CBS's Stephen King show Under the Dome and appeared in David Lynch's Twin Peaks reboot.
In Heathers, Cox stars as Veronica, the character inhabited by Winona Ryder in the 1988 high school classic, who teams up with a dangerous rebel to take down the mean girls. The show is set to premiere March 7 on Paramount Network, formerly known as Spike TV.
Cox is repped by Paradigm, Authentic and Jackoway Tyerman.
