British actress Helen Mirren will receive the Luchino Visconti Award at the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival.

She will be awarded the prize at a special ceremony at Villa La Colombaia on July 17, once the home of legendary filmmaker Luchino Visconti.

The Oscar-winning actress remains in good company. Past recipients of the award include Tom Hooper, Stephen Frears, Terry Gilliam and Baz Luhrmann. Festival director Pascal Vicedomini called Mirren "one of today's most talented and charismatic film and theater players."

Mirren's husband, director Taylor Hackford, also will be presented with an honor at the festival, the Ischia Legend Award.

Ischia has a full lineup of honorees this year. Academy chief Cheryl Boone Isaacs will receive the Ischia Art Award, Matteo Garone will get the Ischia Fantasy Award and Antonio Banderas will be honored with the Ischia Legend Award.

Nicolas Winding Refn will receive an honor as European director of the year. Plus, Netflix's content chief Ted Sarandos will receive the Global Legend Award. The festival also will pay homage to Andrea Bocelli, Jimmy Kimmel and Mario Martone.

The festival takes place off the coast of Naples July 12-19.
