Helen Mirren to Receive Top CinemaCon Honor

The Academy Award winner will be given the festival's Career Achievement Award on March 31.

Helen Mirren, who won an Oscar for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, will receive the CinemaCon Career Achievement Award at the festival's inaugural awards program March 31.

“A consummate actress, Helen Mirren has entertained audiences around the globe for over four decades with her stunning performances on the big screen,” says CinemaCon managing director Mitch Neuhauser, adding, "CinemaCon could not be more honored to present such an amazing actress with the CinemaCon Career Achievement Award.”
Mirren, who also received critical acclaim for her work in The Madness of King George, Gosford Park and The Last Station, will be up next in the Warner Bros. Pictures romantic comedy Arthur.
