A helicopter made an emergency landing at a parking lot at Dodger Stadium on Thursday after an equipment malfunction, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed.

No one was injured during the landing, which went smoothly, according to Sheriff's Office Deputy Mark Crowder.

The helicopter was believed to be a L.A. city tour helicopter. The Sheriff's Office, the closest law enforcement at the time that a distress signal was put out, responded at around 2:30 p.m. According to the L.A. County Scanner, the L.A. Sherriff's Department helped escort the aircraft down.

So far, no charges have been filed in the incident. "It is way, way, way too early for us to determine that right now," Officer Tony Im of the LAPD said.

The public relations office for the Dodgers could not be reached for comment.
