Saban Films has acquired U.S. distribution rights to David Raymond's directorial debut, Nomis. The psychological thriller stars Henry Cavill and Ben Kingsley.

The film follows Marshall (Cavill), a weathered lieutenant, and his police force as they investigate a string of female abductions and murders linked to an online predator. As new leads emerge and the case unravels, Marshall teams with a local vigilante (Kingsley) in pursuit of vengeance.

Alexandra Daddario, Stanley Tucci, Minka Kelly and Nathan Fillion co-star. Raymond penned the script and also produced alongside Robert Ogden Barnum, Arise Pictures' Chris Pettit and Buffalo Gals' Jeff Beesley and Rick Dugdale.

"This is a beautifully crafted tension-filled thriller with a cast that, undeniably, our audiences will love. Nomis is a fun and entertaining ride and we're very excited to be onboard," said Saban Films' Bill Bromiley.

Nomis made its world premiere as the closing-night film at the Los Angeles Film Festival. Bromiley and Jonathan Saba negotiated the deal for Saban Films, along with CAA on behalf of the filmmakers. Fortitude International is handling international rights.

Saban Films also acquired The Haunting of Sharon Tate, starring Hilary Duff, and Derrick Borte's American Dreamer, starring Jim Gaffigan, at AFM.
