Henstridge passes bar for 'Eli'

Natasha Henstridge has been tapped to star opposite Jonny Lee Miller in ABC's drama pilot "Eli Stone," while Michael Rispoli has landed a lead role on NBC's drama pilot "Ft. Pit."

"Eli," from Touchstone TV and Berlanti Television, is a high-concept legal drama about Eli Stone (Miller), a brilliant young attorney at a top law firm who finds out he might be a prophet. Henstridge will play his fiancee, a successful attorney and daughter of the senior partner (Victor Garber) at Stone's firm. Her casting stems from her talent holding deal with Touchstone. Henstridge, who co-starred on the ABC/Touchstone drama "Commander in Chief," recently completed the film "The Tourist" with Ewan McGregor and Hugh Jackman. She is repped by Paradigm, Mosaic Media Group and attorney John LaViolette.

Sam Jaeger (Michael Greene & Assoc., attorney Mark Temple) also has been cast in "Eli" as a rabidly ambitious attorney, Stone's archrival at the firm. His feature credits include "Lucky Number Slevin" and the upcoming "Catch and Release."

"Pit," from Sony Pictures TV and Apostle, is a drama with comedic elements set at one of the worst NYPD precincts in Brooklyn. Rispoli (Gersh Agency, Principal Entertainment) will play a cop at the precinct assigned to desk duty. He will next be seen in the feature "Made in Brooklyn."

David Call (ICM) also has been cast in "Pit," playing a cop at the precinct assigned to ride with a rookie (James Badge Dale). He will be seen in the upcoming "Evening."
