Hillman looks good to Lifetime

Lifetime Networks has pinned vp stripes on David Hillman, who played a key role in its new reality series "How to Look Good Naked."

In his new position as vp reality programming, Hillman will continue to be responsible for developing and overseeing unscripted programming at Lifetime. In addition to "Naked," Hillman also oversees new reality series "Matched in Manhattan." He is based in Los Angeles, reporting to senior vp reality programming Jessica Samet.

"David is an invaluable member of the reality programming team," Samet said. "He's a seasoned and sharp executive with a wealth of unscripted programming experience. This promotion is richly deserved."

Hillman joined Lifetime in February 2005 as senior director of reality programming after having served as supervising producer of SoapNet's "I Wanna Be a Soap Star."

He also was supervising producer on Lifetime's "What Should You Do?"; producer of Travel Channel's "Jimmy Carter's Plains, Georgia"; and senior producer of ABC & A&E's "Behind Closed Doors With Joan Lunden." He began his career as an agent trainee at WMA.
