Hincks on top of Endemol U.K.

"Deal or No Deal" and "Big Brother" creator Endemol has promoted Tim Hincks to chief executive of Endemol U.K., part of a broader restructuring of the producer's London-based operations.

Hincks will be the first chief executive in the London office since former head Tom Barnicoat moved to Endemol's headquarters in Amsterdam three years ago.

Friday's announcement also saw Endemol U.K.'s joint managing director Lucas Church appointed COO and joint managing director Richard Johnson named CFO.

Hincks, who has been chief creative officer since 2005, has overseen a string of U.K. reality hits that have delivered significant growth, according to Aat Schouwenaar, CEO of Endemol Group.

"Since Tim, Lucas and Richard took charge of the U.K. group at the beginning of 2005, it has undergone a period of about 40% average year-on-year growth," Schouwenaar said. "Today's announcement recognizes the key roles they have all played in making this happen and paves the way for them to continue the success story under Endemol's new ownership."

Endemol was acquired last year by a consortium led by co-founder John De Mol, Mediaset and Goldman Sachs Capital Partners.
