WEDDINGS: Delph-Chuckovich Wedding: Walter Delph, senior vp digital media at News Corp., married Anamaria Chuckovich, PR consultant for Stardust Visions, on July 23. The couple wed in front of 110 guests at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. The native New Yorker proposed to Chuckovich in her hometown of Manhattan Beach after they had been dating for 2 1/2 years. The L.A.-based newlyweds spent their "mini-moon" in Laguna Beach.


Hellboy actress Selma Blair and her fashion designer boyfriend, Jason Bleick, welcomed their first child, son Arthur Saint, on July 25.

Kent Weed, president of A. Smith & Co. Productions, and his wife, television producer Alexandra Weed, welcomed son Sebastian Kent on July 12 at St. John's hospital in Santa Monica. The couple also has a 2-year-old daughter, Sofia Elizabeth.


Fox International Channels promoted Jesus Perezagua to president, Europe and Africa, and Jason Thorp to executive vp content, Europe and Africa, on July 26.

NBCUniversal on July 28 named Jeffrey Schneider to the new position of executive vp, Entertainment & Digital Networks and Integrated Media.

Richard Licata joined NBC Entertainment in the newly created position of executive vp communications July 26.

Kathryn Kranhold was named senior vp corporate communications at the Walt Disney Co. on Aug. 1.

AOL Huffington Post Media Group hired Christina Norman, former OWN CEO, as executive editor of its Black Voices website Aug. 1.

Consulting executive Greg Luckman joined CAA Sports on July 28.

Spike TV named Justin Lacob director of original series July 27.

Attorney Tom Ara joined Global Entertainment Group as a partner July 27.

Ben Gorman joined Pakula/King & Associates as an agent July 29.

Tom Rothman, chairman and CEO of Fox Filmed Entertainment, will receive the 21st annual Industry Tribute on Nov. 28 in New York during the 21st annual Gotham Independent Film Awards.

Christina Kounelias on July 29 was appointed to the new post of chief marketing officer at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.


Dukes of Hazzard actor Christopher Mayer died July 23 of natural causes in Sherman Oaks. Mayer, who joined the show in 1982, was 57.

Broadway actress Jane White, best known for her stage performance in Once Upon a Mattress (as well as the TV version), died July 24 in New York. She was 88.
