Hodge to remain in Sony fold
"Runaway" creator Chad Hodge is staying in business with Sony Pictures Television. In a mid-six-figure pact, Hodge has received two blind script commitments from the studio. This past development season, Hodge created the drama "Runaway," which became the first project to get a pilot order by the new CW network. Sony Pictures TV and studio-based Darren Star Prods. produced "Runaway," which was picked up to series. Donnie Wahlberg and Leslie Hope starred on the show about a father (Wahlberg) who goes on the lam with his family after he is framed for murder. In addition to writing the pilot, Hodge co-executive produced the series. Hodge, whose series credits also include "Tru Calling" and "Veritas: The Quest," is repped by WMA and attorney Michael Fuller.
