Hola TV to Launch on DirecTV in U.S.
The Spanish-language channel will feature more than 500 hours a year of original lifestyle and entertainment programming.
Spain's Hola! TV, a new Spanish-language TV channel spinoff of lifestyle and entertainment magazines Hola! and Hello!, will launch on DirecTV in the U.S. on May 1.
DirecTV is the first to carry the channel in the U.S., six months after its launch in Latin America. With its U.S. debut, Hola! TV is targeting the fast-growing American Hispanic market.
Hola! TV is a joint venture between Spanish media group Atresmedia and Hola! Magazine. Founded in 1944 in Barcelona, the magazine boasts 30 editions reaching more than 120 countries and a weekly readership of 20 million worldwide.

TV as a trusted and respected source for celebrity news and exclusives for both the Latin American and U.S. audiences,” said Ignacio Sanz de Acedo, CEO and GM for Hola! TV. “We are excited that our agreement with DirecTV will immediately provide our modern and interactive broadcast content to our loyal Hola! magazine fans throughout the United States.”

Hola! TV will be on channel 430 on DirecTV.
