Hollyweed Sign Prank - H - 2016

The Los Angeles Fire Department said that 77 firefighters tackled the blaze Sunday evening.

A fire broke out at the Hollywood Hemp Museum on Sunday night.

NBCLA reports that around 9 p.m., 77 firefighters knocked down a blaze at the museum, located on the 6100 block of West Hollywood Boulevard. The Los Angeles Fire Department told NBCLA that the fire was located in what appeared to be a marijuana cultivation operation.

On its website, the Hollywood Hemp Museum describes itself as a "showcase venue which houses the best events and artistic expressions that the 420 culture has to offer."

The fire led to the cancellation of a Cowboy Junkies concert at the Fonda Theatre next door.

No one was reported injured and the fire department is investigating the cause.
