Hollywood Hits the Red Carpet

At the Ziegfeld Theatre premiere of Paramount's dramedy Young Adult, about a divorced writer who moves back to her home in a small town in Minnesota, director Jason Reitman said he wouldn't have made the movie without star Charlize Theron on board. "Every director would have a different vision, and my vision was Charlize," he said. "I needed someone who was as brave as her." After the screening, Reitman was joined by castmembers Patton Oswalt, Collette Wolfe and Elizabeth Reaser at Hudson Terrace. Asked when she stopped being a young adult, Reaser replied,"Very recently -- two years ago, maybe." -- Kim Messina
