Hollywood Hits the Red Carpet

The town's top stylists and their A-list clients stepped out for a sunny garden luncheon co-hosted by The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo at Soho House. The stylish soiree celebrated the magazine's second annual ranking of Hollywood's 25 Most Powerful Stylists. Leslie Fremar flew in from New York to attend the event with longtime client -- and THR cover girl -- Charlize Theron. "You spend a lot of time naked with a stylist, so I would want that to be someone I like being around naked," Theron joked of her friendship with Fremar. Guests including Jeanne Yang with client and design partner Katie Holmes, and Petra Flannery with longtime client Zoe Saldana enjoyed chopped salad, organic chicken paillard, grilled salmon and goat cheese tortellini, plus plenty of champagne for toasting 2012's honorees. Dana Gers, senior vp global communications at Jimmy Choo, welcomed guests and talked about how the luxury accessories brand has become synonymous with red-carpet style. "I know how hard all of us really work," said Cristina Ehrlich -- her clients include Penelope Cruz and Amy Adams -- who was going straight from the lunch to the airport to catch a flight to New York for a fitting. "To have a moment where we can step back and get dressed up and celebrate each other is really cool." -- Carol McColgin
