Hollywood: The Next Generation

Profiles of 35 young executives who will run Hollywood in the coming years.

THEY'RE ON THE LIST: The Hollywood Reporter's Next Generation class of 2008 are the 35 executives, age 35 and under, who represent the future of the entertainment business. In considering hundreds of nominees in film, television, representation, legal and new media, the admissions committee (THR editors and reporters) evaluated each person's career potential based on their positions held, their track record in those jobs, and candid recommendations from top players in the industry. This year's honorees join such power-wielding alums as CAA partner Bryan Lourd, DreamWorks co-chair and CEO Stacey Snider and NBC Entertainment co-chair Ben Silverman. After 15 years, the Next Gen fraternity is more than 500 names strong. Welcome its newest members.
