Meanwhile, Trump tweeted "SEE YOU IN COURT."

On Thursday, a federal appeals court decided not to reinstate President Donald Trump's ban on immigrants and travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries. Three judges from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals refused to block a lower-court ruling that suspended the ban. Their decision also allowed travelers previously barred by the ban to enter the United States.

Though an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court is possible, many critics of the ban saw the ruling as a defeat for Trump. The ACLU also tweeted that the ruling was a "win."

Trump took to Twitter as well after the decision, tweeting, "SEE YOU IN COURT, THE SECURITY OF OUR NATION IS AT STAKE!."

Trump's critics in Hollywood were swift to react online.
