In partnership with Southeast Asia's Fierce Publishing, both brands will roll out print editions, Thai-focused mobile and digital content, social media channels as well as conferences and shows.

The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard are expanding into Asian markets, with both brands launching in Thailand under a major new partnership with Southeast Asia media company Fierce Publishing.

The partnership will see THR and Billboard roll out print editions in Thailand as well as a range of other Thai-focused media content, including mobile and digital properties, social media channels and signature brand licensed conferences and shows.

“With coverage of entertainment and music markets around the world, and audiences in dozens of countries, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard are truly global presences,” said John Amato, co-president of THR and Billboard.

Amato added: “Partnering with Fierce Publishing, we’ll be pushing into one of the hottest and most exciting markets for entertainment and music with a partner that has demonstrated a strong ability to execute in the market.”

Sorapoj Techakraisri, president of Fierce Publishing, said: “We’re delighted to bring two of the most iconic brands in the world of entertainment to Thailand, where we’ll deliver a fresh, unique and engaging experience to our audiences. It’s a great moment for our company, as well as for the region’s entertainment and music fans.”

THR's and Billboard's head of Asia Jonathan Serbin added that as "Thailand is one of the most influential entertainment markets in Southeast Asia," the partnership would give both properties the "inside track on the latest projects, talent and deal-making coming out of the continent. Entering this market will strongly influence the entertainment and music media landscape through two powerful brands."

Added Fierce managing director Tarinee Kanchanawong: "Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter are truly unique and exciting entries to Thailand’s media market — their coverage, analysis and access will help keep audiences connected and engaged with the latest in entertainment and music. We're excited to launch this partnership and look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration."
