Free and available through iTunes, the app provides THR's coverage - including breaking news, photos, reviews, party coverage, video and screening schedules - at the start of the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Hollywood Reporter released its Festivals App in time for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The free full-scale app for iPhone and iPad provides all of THR's top coverage -- including minute-by-minute updates on breaking news, reviews, and film screenings  as well as celebrity photos, behind-the-scenes videos and (of course) exclusive party coverage -- from Toronto. THR's Festivals App is available for free now on iPad and iPhone.

"Toronto has emerged as one of the industry's most important and beloved festivals," said The Hollywood Reporter editorial director Janice Min. "With insider information, breaking news, video and rich photography, the app brings Toronto right to our readers."

The Hollywood Reporter Festivals App is built on the recent success of the GENWI-powered Cannes Film Festival tablet app. This new smartphone and tablet app, also built on GENWI's cloud-based mobile Content Management System, includes such engaging features as:

●Festival screening guides
●Exclusive festival news coverage
●Movie reviews
●Interviews with stars and dealmakers
●Party coverage
●Who’s who among guests
●Complete product listings
●A downloadable THR Daily Edition
●Interactive maps

THR's industry-leading coverage of TIFF and other film festivals throughout the year -- including Berlin, Sundance and Cannes -- will be consolidated on the new app. PJ Gurumohan, co-founder and CEO of GENWI, spoke of the benefits of the cloud-based technology, saying, "This is a huge time-saver and helps THR deliver festival content at Twitter-like speed."
