Holzer upped to new-media senior vp role
EmptyFox Cable Networks said Monday that it has promoted Adam Holzer to the newly created position of senior vp integration and emerging media.
Both Holzer's promotion and the creation of his new position are efforts by FCN to meet increasing demands from emerging media platforms in regard to cross-platform sales, promotions, product integration, content tie-ins and brand relationships.
Holzer, who steps up from the position of senior vp advertising sales at Fox Cable Sports, will be responsible for coordinating and developing all integrated and multiplatform programs on behalf of FX, FSN, the 18 owned-and-operated Fox Sports Networks, Speed Channel, National Geographic Channel, Fox Reality and Fox Movie Channel, among other linear services.
"Consumers want more access to our content across increasingly diverse devices and platforms," FCN president of advertising sales Lou LaTorre said. "With Adam's new role, we believe we can provide interesting new perspectives and opportunities spanning product immersion, video-on-demand, broadband, online promotions, wireless and anything and everything in between."
Holzer served in his previous role since January 2004. Before that, he was vp Eastern region network advertising sales at Fox Cable Sports since 2000.
