'Home Alone' Actor Daniel Stern Breaks Out in Song for Macaulay Culkin's Birthday
"You have brought a lot of joy into this world, and I hope you celebrate all of your accomplishments today."
Kevin McCallister isn't so little anymore.
Macaulay Culkin turned 36 on Friday, and a former co-star of his wished him happy birthday with a little help from a Beatles classic.
Daniel Stern, who played Marv, one of the two bumbling burglars in Home Alone and its sequel, broke out his acoustic guitar to send Culkin a message.
"Happy Birthday, Macaulay. You have brought a lot of joy into this world, and I hope you celebrate all of your accomplishments today. Love, D," Stern wrote with the video on Facebook.
Stern — also known for his work in City Slickers, Rookie of the Year and as the narrator of The Wonder Years — who himself turns 58 on Sunday, played a little "Birthday" off of The Beatles' White Album.
Culkin, for the most part, has remained out of the public eye during his adult life.
However, he did return to the McCallister character last year in a dark, NSFW parody, showing how screwed up the guy was as an adult, thanks to the movies' situations.
