Homer Simpson Donut - H 2015
"I urge congress without delay to create a Pork Rinds Month."
D'oh! Homer Simpson isn't satisfied with just having a National Donut Day. Why not celebrate all of the world's delicious foods?
On perhaps the Simpsons character's favorite holiday, Fox issued an official statement from the beloved cartoon figure, in which he called for the creation of more observance days for food: "I urge congress without delay to create a Pork Rinds Month."
National Donut Day, which lands on the first Friday of June, was established in 1938. Homer's love for the sweet dessert became a well known character attribute on The Simpsons.
