The actress talks about what makes a good bra, her favorite on-line shopping haunts and why she likes to style herself.

House of Lies actress Dawn Olivieri is a lingerie loyalist. “I've been in love with these Mary Green silk bras for a couple years now and they are also the only bra I wear on House of Lies,” says the Florida native, who just landed a role as Bradley Cooper’s girlfriend in David O. Russell’s untitled new film (alongside Jennifer LawrenceAmy AdamsJeremy RennerChristian Bale and Louis C.K.). “They are so feminine and beautiful, especially if you are someone who likes a very natural shape. The baby pink with black lace are my favorites!”

Although Olivieri has three films in the works (Supremacy with Joe Anderson and Danny Glover, The Missionary, and Catherine Hardwicke’s Plush), she still finds time to mix up her red carpet looks -- which vary between leather pants and fitted jackets, to floor skimming gowns and sexy sheaths — some of which she brings from her own closet and styles herself.

“I look back and it was all me, and my style,” she says of dressing herself early on in her career. “I’m trying to work on reverting back to that — that my idea of what a red carpet should be is enough.”

When I find something I like, I'm extremely faithful (or compulsive). Such as the pair of Genetic Denim jeans that I've worn everyday for the past...umm, two years… I just put them on again this morning and noticed six small rips in the crotch. This is devastating because I'm just not ready to move on...Genetic Denim gods, if you’re listening, please don't rip, and if you have to, maybe you could have an elf from your warehouse send me another pair...I'm a size 28 and its called "The Twig” in a dark grayish wash...I will wear them until I die, unless those rips beat me to it.

I try to avoid large crowds. But give me a keyboard and an Internet connection and we could film an episode of hoarders with the number of Amazon boxes that start piling up. I have a sweet tooth for reading, so books migrate to my zip code en mass. Not to mention the incense bender I went on last month. etsy.com has some really spectacular homemade scents!

I recently bought a pair of Current Elliott “the boyfriend” jeans, which I love. I’m going though an Idgie Threadgoode [from Fried Green Tomatoes] phase. She made a reference that she had hobo style and I have been channeling that lately.

A free plane ticket (yeah right, I wish), Tizo sunscreen, a book, incense (maybe a piece of Paulo Santo to burn), sunglasses of course -- Garrett Leight being some of my favorites -- Bed Head pomade stick, Burt's Bees tinted chap stick.

I don’t really have any horrible mishaps, fortunately. Unless you count missing the carpet completely after getting ready for 3 ½ hours— I got ready and showed up after the carpet had closed.

It’s funny, one of my most solid carpet moments happened in the very beginning, before I started thinking that I needed all these other people to do my hair and makeup, and pick out my clothes.  I wore a cheetah sweater and a red hat, and it’s one of my favorite looks, even still.
