Annabelle: Creation – Amazon

In this pic, a man suffers from sleep paralysis and is visited by dark spirits who show him plans to abduct his son while he lays paralyzed in bed. 

Cult of Chucky – Amazon, Netflix

The seventh film in the Chucky franchise, this installment follows the demon doll while it terrorizes its victims in an insane asylum. 

Death Note – Netflix

This Netflix original movie, based on a Japanese manga series, tells the story of a high schooler who discovers a notebook that kills anyone whose name is written in it. 

Gerald's Game – Netflix

A woman's husband dies during a sex game, leaving her handcuffed to the bed with no way to escape, in this film based on the 1992 Stephen King novel. 

Get Out – Amazon

A breakout hit of 2017 and Jordan Peele's directorial debut, Get Out is about a young black man who visits his white girlfriend's family for the weekend and discovers secrets on the family's estate. 

It Comes at Night – Amazon

This film focuses on life after the apocalypse, as two surviving families must share a home in an attempt to survive.

Little Evil – Netflix

The Babysitter – Netflix

More of a teen horror film than any of the others on this list, this pic centers on a young child's attractive babysitter who is part of a satanic cult. 

The Disappointments Room – Netflix
