TORONTO – Online giant Hulu unveiled its summer lineup, with new shows recently unveiled at its Upfront presentation and international imports never been seen in the U.S. market.

The summer slate launches with Spoilers, a half-hour movie review show hosted by Kevin Smith, to stream on Hulu and Hulu Plus on June 4.

Then in August comes the travel series Up To Speed, by director Richard Linklater and starring tour guide Timothy Levitch, and the debut of We Got Next, a bromantic comedy about a pick-up basketball team co-created by Kenya Barris and Hale Rothstein.

There’s also the second season of Hulu’s sci-fi thriller series The Booth at the End from the U.K.

The summer lineup is highlighted by another six foreign series receiving their U.S. premiere on Hulu and Hulu Plus: Rev., The Yard, Pramface, Derren Brown: Inside Your Mind, The Promise and Little Mosque.

“At Hulu, we want to offer exclusive shows and make original TV programming that speaks to a passionate group of fans,” Andy Forssell, senior vp of content for Hulu, said Monday.

The BBC 2 sitcom Rev. sees a newly-promoted vicar move to a busy east London parish, and stars Tom Hollander and Olivia Colman.

Derren Brown: Inside Your Mind features a British performer using psychology, magic and suggestion to achieve the impossible, while The Yard is a Canadian mockumentary about a schoolyard rivalry that originally aired on HBO Canada.

Elsewhere on the Hulu schedule is The Promise, a four-part British political thriller and romancer, while Little Mosque, which aired as Little Mosque on the Prairie in Canada for six season, is a fish-out-of-water sitcom about a Muslim community in Saskatchewan.
