I-Cable expecting 'Baby'
EmptyHONG KONG -- I-Cable Communications subsidiary Cable TV has signed a deal to broadcast BabyFirst, a 24-hour, commercial-free station aimed at babies, toddlers and their parents, starting March 31, Cable TV announced Thursday (27).
“BabyFirst is on the fast track to rapid global expansion, having launched in such important international markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia,” said Glenn Kopelson, executive vp of distribution for BabyFirst.
Available in the U.S. on DirecTV, Dish Network, as well as Comcast and Charter cable channels, BabyFirst reaches 80 million viewers internationally.
The channel, launched in 2006, is to be sold as part of Cable TV's Happy Kids Pack, and has received advice from experts in the field of child psychology and education.
