ICM signs Ice-T, actor
EmptyIce-T and Freddy Rodriguez have signed with ICM. Ice-T has inked with the agency in all areas. The rapper-actor-producer-author, now part of the cast of NBC's "Law & Order: SVU," began his career as a pioneering force in the West Coast hip-hop scene. He moved into acting, landing his first film role in the 1991 feature "New Jack City."
Ice-T, who also is a lecturer and wrote the book "The Ice Opinion," is managed by Jorge Hinojos.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez was nominated for a supporting actor Emmy for his role as Federico on HBO's "Six Feet Under." This past year, he appeared in the feature film "Bobby," which earned a SAG Award nomination for best ensemble.
