IFS Capital Boarding Arclight's 'Mental,' Starring Tony Collette

Comedy reteams the actress with her "Muriel's Wedding" director P.J. Hogan

Singapore’s IFS Captal Lmtd. is coming aboard to finance Arclight Films International’s Mental, a comedy that will reteam Muriel’s Wedding’s director P.J. Hogan with that movie’s star Tony Collette.

Collette will play a woman who becomes the nanny to five girls in the autobiographical screenplay by Hogan.

Jerry Zucker and Janet Zucker are producing along with Todd Fellman and Jocelyn Moorhouse. Arclight’s Gary Hamilton will serve as exec producer.

Mental, which will begin filming this summer in Australia,  will be the second project for Capital and Arclight, following the Chinese-Australian coproduction 33 Postcards, directed by Pauline Chan and starring Guy Pearce and Zhu Lin.

Arclight will handle sales for Mental outside of the U.S., while CAA will handle U.S. rights.
