U2, Drake, Britney Spears and More to Headline 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas
The sixth annual event, set for Sept. 23-24 in Las Vegas, also will feature performances from Sam Hunt, twenty one pilots, Billy Idol, Florida Georgia Line, OneRepublic, Sia, Cage the Elephant, Zedd, Tears for Fears, Pitbull and Usher.
U2, Drake, Britney Spears, Sting and Ariana Grande are among the superstars scheduled to headline the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which will be held Sept. 23-24 at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
The sixth annual event also will feature performances from such diverse artists as Sam Hunt, twenty one pilots, Billy Idol, Florida Georgia Line, OneRepublic, Sia, Cage the Elephant, Zedd, Tears for Fears, Pitbull and Usher.
Ryan Seacrest has been tapped to host the two-day fest.
The Daytime Village will return to the Las Vegas Village across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino on Sept. 24, with performances by Panic! at the Disco, Alessia Cara, Hailee Steinfeld, Good Charlotte, Jeremih, The Chainsmokers and DNCE, among others. In addition to live music, the Village also will feature interactive experiences for festivalgoers.
For those who can’t make it to Las Vegas, the fest will be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country and will live-stream on CWTV.com and through the CW App. The CW Network also will broadcast the two-day festival on Oct. 6-7.
iHeartMedia is once again partnering with the Global Citizen Festival in New York to “harness the power of music to fight inequality, protect our planet and end extreme poverty by 2030.” iHeartmedia will be sharing live music and content from each fest’s stages, as both events fall on the same weekend in September.
The 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival lineup included Kanye West, Sam Smith, The Who and Janet Jackson.
