Venice boutiques LFrank, Pamela Barrish and Mona Moore celebrated the opening of their collective Main Street store Friday evening with guests including Anjelica Huston and Tim Robbins.

It’s fair to say that when three of Los Angeles' most beloved tastemakers and store owners join forces and set up shop together, you can expect three times the fun at the launch party.

Such was the case last week at the in-store affair celebrating the debut of III Luxury Collective, a style destination on Venice’s Main Street featuring retailers Pamela Barish, Mona Moore and LFrank under one roof. Guests including Anjelica Huston, Tim Robbins, Kendall Conrad and Lisa Love turned out to support the opening of the three interconnected boutiques, formerly individually located on Venice’s Abbot Kinney Blvd.

“About a year ago we started to talk about doing something together because we’re friends, but none of us were willing to leave Venice,” said Pamela Barish, whose namesake clothing boutique now is nestled between Liseanne Frankfurt’s fine jewelry and luxury lingerie store and Lisa Bush’s shoe and accessories haven Mona Moore, which carries designers ranging from Chloe to The Row.

Despite being housed in the same historic space — formerly home to Ray Azoulay’s furniture gallery Obsolete — each retailer opted to maintain its own individual aesthetic (Barish’s spot, for example, has the look and feel of a gallery, featuring works from her personal collection by the likes of Ed Moses, William Wegman and her partner, Laddie John Dill).

Partygoers wandered through the spaces admiring the goods, while Robbins hopped on the drums to jam with local rock 'n' roll band The Americans, which provided the evening’s lively entertainment. And no matter how crowded the boutiques became with well-wishers, it was always easy to spot Barish, Bush and Frank — they opted to wear matching black dresses from Barish’s collection, accessorized with jewelry and shoes from LFrank and Mona Moore.

“We’re a mutual admiration society. We deck ourselves in each other’s stuff all the time,” said Frank. “We love each other, and each other’s work.”
