Image gains 'Stuck' for U.S.

Image Entertainment is acquiring U.S. rights to Stuart Gordon's psychological horror film "Stuck," starring Mena Suvari and Stephen Rea, from Rigel Entertainment.

ThinkFilm will handle theatrical distribution.

"Stuck" is based on the true story of a Ft. Worth, Texas, retirement home worker (Suvari) who struck a homeless man (Rea) with her car while inebriated, then left him stuck in the windshield in her garage for days to die.

Co-producer Prodigy Pictures will rep U.S. broadcast sales.

The Capco Group-owned company will release the film on video following sister distributor ThinkFilm's planned spring theatrical release in top U.S. markets.

Rigel is repping sales at the American Film Market.
