It’s holiday partypalooza in L.A. right now and one of the hottest tickets in town was film and TV producer Jennifer Klein’s annual holiday event on Dec. 13 at her Brentwood home.

Around 300 guests attended the event, and THR was inside the VIP affair which drew top execs, actors, filmmakers and tastemakers. The upbeat bash only got serious when the devastating Sony hack weaved its way into conversations, and members of the studio were in attendance — among them Michael De LucaClint Culpepper and Doug Belgrad.

Revelers — treated to customized holiday-themed Ketel One cocktails, Evian, Health-Ade Kombucha, Chipotle, Dunkin’ Donuts, IT'SUGAR candy, Clover Juice, Duff's Cakemix and gourmet Garrett Popcorn — were overly sympathetic to Sony’s plight: “If they saw my emails, this would be much worse,” laughed one guest. Meanwhile, Kerry Washington and her Scandal co-stars — Katie LowesBellamy Young and Darby Stanchfield — danced in a circle on the backyard dance floor and Washington looked to be having a ball, even flashing pics of her baby upon request.

Tongues were wagging while Charlie Hunnam and Fifty Shades of Grey director Sam Taylor-Johnson were spied having a lengthy chat close to midnight. The two — who almost worked together on the EL James erotic novel adaptation before Hunnam backed out — looked like old friends, laughing and smiling while Kirsten DunstGarrett HedlundAlex Pettyfer and Sam's hubby Aaron Taylor-Johnson mingled nearby.

Meanwhile, Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison holiday bash is always a major draw. Held annually at Burbank’s Pickwick Gardens, a source tattled that there was food and bowling on Dec. 11, but the real star was the music with “tons” of live performances including an “epic” duet between Sandler and Courtney Love who collaborated on the Hole song Violet. Also taking to the stage were Demi MooreVanilla Ice and former Rage Against the Machine star Tom Morello, among others.
