It was hard to miss the outdoor fiesta on the corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Rosewood Avenue on Thursday night. Given that the bash was hosted by Opening Ceremony — the brand known for presenting the coolest runway shows — its co-founders Humberto Leon and Carol Lim probably wouldn't have it any other way.

Though the design duo weren't actually present, their cool, eclectic fans were on the scene to celebrate both Pleats Please by Issey Miyake's exclusive designs for OC and Cinco de Mayo. Singer Karen O, clad in one of the Pleats Please creations for the retailer, was among one of the brand's famous fans to step out for the soiree.

"I haven't celebrated [Cinco de Mayo] in a long time so tonight is perfect," she said before grabbing a beer from a friend and checking out the party, where guests enjoyed offerings from a taco truck, churro cart and Mexican fruit stand.

Singer Jhene Aiko stopped by, too. Though she didn't grab a bite during the event, the L.A. native shared her go-to spots when it comes to Mexican food — at least of the vegan variety.

"This may be weird but Native Foods has nachos that are actually reminiscent of non-vegan nachos if you're someone who's not used to vegan food. That's where you want to go," she offered. "We also get tacos from Vegan Glory and I also make really good house tacos."

DJ Jubilee spun hits like Drake's "One Dance" and Tinashe's "2 On" that could be heard from around the block before the Sunland dancers performed a lyrical number for a Snapchat-ready crowd. Soon after, partygoers were also treated to a short performance by Mariachi Arcoiris de Los Angeles, the world's first LGTBQ mariachi band.

Swedish import Lykke Li arrived later towards the evening, taking in the colorful scene. Although she's not used to celebrating the Mexican holiday, the musician is enjoying all that her new adopted home of L.A. has to offer. Said Li, "It's a really eclectic place for dreamers, its' the best."
