This Is Where Gwyneth Paltrow Steams Her Vagina

It's as goop as it gets, folks.

We were already aware that Gwyneth Paltrow has "a ’70s vibe" down below, as she once told Ellen DeGeneres, but now we know another tidbit about the Goop founder: She gets vagina cleanses.

Known for offering up advice on her lifestyle website (conscious uncoupling, anyone?), Paltrow got even more personal this week in a new post where she praises the Mugworth V-Steam at the Tikkun Holistic Spa, a high-end spa located in Santa Monica.

"You sit on what is essentially a mini-throne, and a combination of infrared and mugwort steam cleanses your uterus, et al. It is an energetic release — not just a steam douche — that balances female hormone levels," Paltrow wrote in a post, adding, "If you're in L.A., you have to do it."

According to the spa's website, the treatment has been used in Korea for hundred of years and "contains natural antibiotics and anti-fungal agents which is said to help maintain internal health as well as keep your skin looking young and healthy." A 30-minute session costs $50 and a series of five treatments is available for $200.

The cleanse might be recommended for women, but guys are welcome to get in on the action, too. The site reads, "Although touted for its use for women, it may also be used for both men and women who suffer from hemorrhoid discomfort." And there you have it. Enjoy.
