Abigail Klem is taking over.

Two days after Ivanka Trump confirmed that she would be stepping down from her positions at her namesake label as well as The Trump Organization, the designer has announced her company's next leader.

The soon-to-be first daughter wrote in a Facebook post Wednesday that she has appointed Abigail Klem as the brand's new president. "She will work with a board of trustees to manage the strategic and day-to-day operations of the business; I am confident that under her leadership the company will continue creating smart, solution-oriented product and content," wrote Ivanka.

Klem previously served as the chief brand officer of Ivanka Trump for a little over three years. According to her LinkedIn account, Klem also worked at Diane von Furstenberg as director of licensing before becoming executive vp merchandising.

Ivanka's decision to remove herself from her company comes after reports stated that she and her husband, Jared Kushner, were moving to Washington, D.C., to work alongside her father, President-elect Donald Trump. Kushner was recently named senior White House adviser to Donald. Ivanka has yet to accept a specific role under her dad's administration.

In addition to resigning from all officer and director positions, Ivanka will sell all her common stock and restructure her participation in Trump Organization transactions so that she no longer profits in order to comply with ethics laws, according to Kushner's attorney. Instead, she will receive a fixed series of regular payments.

"I'm grateful for the overwhelming amount of outreach I've received from people all across America who have shared their stories and offered to extend their ideas and expertise in the areas I am deeply passionate about, including the education and empowerment of women and girls; leveling the playing field for female entrepreneurs and job creators and unleashing the potential of women in the workplace," Ivanka stated. "I am eager to hear more from them as I determine the most impactful and appropriate ways for me to serve our country."
