The Jackal Group Hires Rory Koslow as Senior VP, Film Development
Gail Berman's venture has a first-look feature film deal with Fox 2000.
As it continues to build up its film division, Gail Berman's The Jackal Group has hired seasoned executive Rory Koslow as senior vp, film development.
Earlier this month, The Jackal Group signed a first-look feature film deal with Fox 2000.
In his new role, Koslow, who will report to Berman, will strategically identify feature film projects to be produced by The Jackal Group, and oversee the development of all films coming from the company.
“Rory is a strong and passionate executive who understands the evolving film landscape and we are proud to welcome him to the company as we continue to grow our feature film slate,” said Berman in a statement.
Koslow previously served as senior vp of production at Langley Park Pictures, a feature film production company based at Warner Bros. He oversaw projects including Gangster Squad, The Lucky One and Arthur. Prior to Langley Park Pictures, Koslow held stints at Warner Bros. Pictures and Initial Entertainment Group.
Berman founded The Jackal Group earlier in 2014 as a production co-venture with the Fox Networks Group (FNG) designed to develop and produce premium scripted and unscripted programming.
