Jacobsen to head Live Nation Miami


NASHVILLE - Neil Jacobsen of Live Nation's Philadelphia office has been promoted to the newly-created position of president of Live Nation Miami.

In Miami, Jacobsen will oversee all of the company's concert booking, marketing and promotion in the state of Florida, focusing on top 25 markets Tampa and Miami.

Jacobsen has been part of Live Nation's Philadelphia office since 1995, most recently serving as executive VP.

For more than 10 years, he worked alongside Live Nation Philadelphia president and Electric Factory founder Larry Magid, promoting concerts in the Philadelphia area.

Prior to joining Electric Factory, Jacobsen worked at MCA Concerts where he was instrumental in developing the Gorge Amphitheatre outside of Seattle, Washington.

He began his career in 1977, working with pioneering promoter Don Law in the Boston market until 1991, eventually rising to VP of booking and marketing."Pain."
