The British comedian takes over the CBS show on Monday.

America is about to get a big dose of James Corden.

The British comedian takes over as host of CBS' Late Late Show Monday, following Craig Ferguson's exit in December. Thanks to a starring role in Into the Woods, Corden's U.S. profile got a boost, with him charming the pants off of late night hosts while promoting the film.

Below check out some of Corden's best recent appearances as he makes his move to U.S. talk show host.

This CollegeHumor game show ends up being less-than-flattering for the contestants, who are subjected to unflattering comparisons the the characters in Game of Thrones.

Corden charmed while visiting his future time slot rival Seth Meyers in December, when he revealed that he was a trickster on the set of Into The Woods. He mischievously led co-star Anna Kendrick into believing Meryl Streep had been fired from the project.

Corden told David Letterman that his dad wasn't that impressed when he heard the late hour the Late Late Show airs.

Corden came face-to-face with the man who will eventually be his lead in, with Stephen Colbert teasing the comedian about following David Letterman. "You must have balls," Colbert said, a double-edged joke since Colbert will be taking over Letterman's Late Show spot.
