"This is the most rigged thing I’ve ever done in my entire life," said the 'Tonight Show' host during his new game "Cooler Heads," featuring containers of mystery substances.

While visiting The Tonight Show on Thursday (Dec. 7), James Franco went head-to-head with host Jimmy Fallon in the host's new football-themed game, “Cooler Heads.”

Each contestant was instructed to answer a multiple-choice trivia question. Following each answer, coolers were carried out and dumped over their heads. If the contestant answered the question correctly, he received an empty cooler and his opponent had a mystery substance dumped on him, and vice versa if they answered the question incorrectly.

Fallon was the first to answer a question. “In 1892,” game host Steve Higgins began before Fallon interrupted, “Oh, come on.” After answering that Harry Tickler was the first professional football player to be paid $500 to play in a game, Fallon was deemed incorrect and a cooler of icy-cold eggnog was dumped over his head.

Franco prepared to answer the next question while an eggnog covered Fallon asked, “What the hell just happened?”

Higgins asked Franco what inspired Kansas City Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt to create the term “Super Bowl” in 1966. After deciding that he wanted to go with the second option, which was that his son’s super ball toy inspired the now iconic term, it was revealed that Franco was correct. Fallon then had tinsel poured on him from behind.

For Fallon’s next question, he was asked which artist has never performed as part of the Super Bowl halftime show. After debating between New Kids on the Block and Taylor Swift, he stated, “I don’t think Swifty did it.” As a cooler full of popcorn fell over Franco’s head, it was revealed that Fallon had answered the question correctly. “That’s all he got?,” an eggnog- and tinsel-covered Fallon complained. “This is the most rigged thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.”

For the final question, Franco was asked which is the only NFL team to have ever won three championships in a row. After the Disaster Artist star stated that the Green Bay Packers are the answer, a cooler of buffalo wing sauce was thrown over Fallon. Franco’s correct answer confirmed his victory over the host.

As Franco turned Fallon’s congratulatory handshake into a fist bump, Fallon stated, “This is the dumbest game I’ve ever played on this show.”
