James Franco Jokes About Obama Flubbing His Name

"James Flacco" thanks "President Obacco"

James Franco may have remained silent publicly after Sony said last week that it wouldn't proceed with the Christmas Day release of The Interview, his upcoming movie with Seth Rogen, but it seems he heard President Obama when he erroneously called Franco "James Flacco" during his Friday news conference.

Franco joked about the mix-up, which subsequently led to a series of tweets, a fake Twitter account and even a correction from Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, in one of his Instagram posts celebrating Sony's announcement Tuesday that it would, in fact, release The Interview in select theaters on Christmas Day.

The post was Franco's second in response to the news, having earlier posting the below.

VICTORY!!!!!!! The PEOPLE and THE PRESIDENT have spoken!!! SONY to release THE INTERVIEW in theaters on XMAS DAY!
