Toronto: A24, DirecTV Take Jamie Bell's White Supremacy Drama 'Skin'

Bell stars as a former skinhead who leaves the white supremacy group and begins the painful process of removing his tattoos.

A24 and DirecTV have partnered for North American rights to the Toronto International Film Festival title Skin.

The drama stars Jamie Bell as a man raised by skinheads who leaves the white supremacy group and begins the painful process of removing his tattoos with the help of a black activist.

Vera Farmiga, Danielle MacDonald, Mike Colter and Bill Camp also star in the movie from director Guy Nattiv.

Nattiv also produced Skin, along with Oren Moverman, Jaime Ray Newman, Celine Rattray, Trudie Styler and Dillon D. Jordan.

ICM negotiated the deal on behalf of the filmmakers.

Bell is involved with multiple TIFF titles, starring in the drama Donnybrook and executive producing Elle Fanning's Teen Spiritwhich was acquired by LD Entertainment.
