Kushner Companies was formerly represented by Democratic comms strategist Risa Heller.

Kushner Companies, the real estate company controlled by the family of the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has signed on to be represented by global communications agency Finsbury, a spokesman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.

While Finsbury will represent Kushner Companies on corporate matters, former Blumhouse comms lead Josh Raffel will still handle PR for Jared Kushner's work in the White House as part of the White House Office of American Innovation.

The Finsbury spokesman said the company has no further comment on the services the company will provide to Kushner Companies, which is reportedly under federal investigation over a visa program the company used. (The company, which is no longer led by Jared Kushner, claims it did nothing improper.)

Kushner Companies was formerly represented by longtime political communications pro Risa Heller, but Politico reported Wednesday evening that Heller dropped the company as a client. Bloomberg first reported that Finsbury was tapped to replace Heller's company.

Heller has worked primarily with Democrats, including Sen. Chuck Schumer and former New York Gov. David A. Paterson.
