Jason Patric Headlining 'Copperhead' Shoot in New Brunswick

Ron Maxwell of "Gettysburg" and "Gods and Generals" directs the Civil War era drama about a feuding family that also stars Angus MacFadyen.

TORONTO - Jason Patric and Angus MacFadyen are top-lining Copperhead, the Civil War era drama from Swordspoint Production now shooting in in King’s Landing, New Brunswick.

Ron Maxwell (Gettysburg, Gods and Generals) is directing the Civil War era drama based on a novel by Harold Frederic.

Patric plays the patriarch Abner Beech, while MacFadyen performs the role of Jee Hagadorn in a drama penned by Bill Kauffman about a family ripped apart by feuds during the Civil War.

Copperhead is produced by John Houston.
