And he's collaborating with artist Hunt Slonem for the first collection.

After Jason Wu tied the knot to longtime partner Gusatvo Rangel in Tulum over the weekend, the designer headed back to work to announce his latest venture — a new sister collection called Grey Jason Wu.

"Introducing #GREYJasonWu a new sister label I've created that has been under wraps for the last 12 months," the designer posted Tuesday on Instagram, telling fans to follow the @greyjasonwu account for more updates. There, he shared that his latest range was inspired by his pals.

"I often look to my friends for inspiration and I created this collection for women who look for beautifully made, well considered clothes that have a sense of whimsy and uncomplicated chic that suit their everyday lives," explained Wu, who counts Diane Kruger, jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher and Glamour fashion news director Jane Keltner de Valle among his confidantes (they all attended his nuptials).

Wu also announced that he'll be teaming up with American painter and sculptor Hunt Slonem for his first collection, noting that he's turned the neo-expressionist artist's work of famous bunnies into printed chiffon, a multi-colored jacquard and embroidery on knitwear. Said Wu: "Hunt's work is charming, full of life, and so clever — qualities that perfectly sum up GREY Jason Wu."

The collection, priced from $295 to $1395, will be available at greyjasonwu.com and select retailers in June.
