"I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn't totally built on the 100 percent truth," the rapper says in "Footnotes for 4:44."

Jay-Z continues to string together crafty visuals from his 4:44 album. On Monday afternoon, Tidal released the "Footnotes for 4:44" featuring Kendrick Lamar, Will Smith, Chris Paul, Meek Mill, Chris Rock and more.

For Episode 2, Hov delves into his ineptness in love and why he struggled to mature as quickly as Beyonce. While he doesn't blame his father — whom Hov candidly rapped about on his bonus track "Adnis" — he recognizes that their reconciliation didn't heal him entirely.

"I just ran into this place and we built this big, beautiful mansion of a relationship that wasn't totally built on the 100 percent truth," he says. "Then it starts cracking, and then things start happening that the public can see.... We had to go a point and be like, 'Tear this down,' and then start from the beginning."

Throughout the video, the star-studded cast dives deep into the importance of family life and cultivating relationships with a significant other. "Everybody wants to be needed on some level," Rock says at the beginning of the video.

Earlier Monday, Hov unveiled his 4:44 Tour stops. He'll kick off his 31-city trek Oct. 27 in Anaheim, Calif. Last week, he released "Footnotes for the Story of O.J.," in which he explored the struggles endured by African-American men in America.
