The Republican presidential candidate will join George Clooney and musical guest Kendrick Lamar on Colbert's CBS program.

Stephen Colbert might have dropped his conservative character, but he's not done with dealing with Republican figures.

The new Late Show host announced Tuesday that Jeb Bush will join him on his first episode on Sept. 8. In his tweet revealing the news, Colbert also poked fun at the many Republican presidential candidates.

Bush will join George Clooney and musical guest Kendrick Lamar when Colbert takes over the show.

Colbert has been prepping — and prepping audiences — all summer for his return to late night in promos and appearances online and on the big screen.
